Fleetwood Macked

I went to see the amazing Fleetwood Macked perform Friday night at the Dix Hills Performing Arts Center. Fleetwood Macked is a tribute band to the great Fleetwood Mac but I guess you figured that. They asked me to take pictures of the band during the show and I was very happy to accept. I got a bunch of great shots and posted the first few on my flickr page. The photo I posted here is probably my favorite of the bunch.

Waiting for the Thaw

I took my daugther to see the historic Teddy Roosevelt house at Sagamore Hill in Oyster Bay, N.Y. I had my camera and tripod ready to take a few new HDR's. It is required that you are accompinied by a tour guide while inside the house. Unfortunately photography of any kind is forbidden. As we drove along the shore of Cove Neck to Sagamore Hill I noticed how spectacular the view of the frozen Harbor was so on the way back we stopped and took a few pictures. The result was a 5 shot HDR that I really l felt did justice to the beauty of the frozen harbor.

Suffolk 9-11 Memorial

Suffolk County did a great job putting it's 9-11 memorial together. Each pane of glass on the Suffolk County 9-11 Memorial is dedicated to a person who lived in Suffolk County and was killed in the terrorist attacks on September 11th 2001. There are 178 in total. The memorial photo is a three shot HDR.

Portland Head Light

The Portland Head Light is one of the most photographed light houses in the world. Located in Cape Elizabeth, ME the Head Light offers a variety of locations to take great photos from. This is the result of a 3 photo HDR. I was lucky, the clouds happened to be in an interesting place in relation to the lighthouse and balances out the photo nicely.

Circular

A photo of Jelly Beans on a white dish. This is an HDR comprised of 3 separate shots. A little bit of filtering to create the color drain and we have Circular.

Northport Hardware

One of my photos of the Northport Hardware store I has been selected for sale by wozofoto. The selected shot was taken during the Worldwide Photowalk.
